Arabic:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ
Transliteration:
Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alallahi, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
Meaning:
“In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no power and no strength except with Allah.”
Dua for Travel
As you recite the dua for travelling, you are reminded that Allah Almighty is in control of everything. It also brings peace of mind that you are under the protection of Allah Almighty.
Arabic:
اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
Transliteration:
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon.
Meaning:
“Allah is the Greatest. Glory be to the One who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it ourselves. Indeed, to our Lord we will return.”
Talbiyah

لَبَّيْكَ اللّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ

لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Transliteration:
Labbayk Allahumma labbayk,

“Here I am, O Allah, here I am.
Here I am, you have no partner, here I am.
Indeed, all praise, blessings, and sovereignty belong to You.

Arabic:
اللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Transliteration:
Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatik.

“O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.”
Dua Between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone

Arabic:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً
وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً
وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration:
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah, wa fil-akhirati hasanah, wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.
Meaning:
“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
Dua at Safa and Marwa
Performing Sa’i during Umrah is a reminder of Hazrat Hajar’s unwavering faith and resilience, the wife of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Reciting duas and supplications at Safa and Marwa is highly encouraged. You can learn the following dua to recite at these sacred hills.
